Piscine Mai - France 2014
The pool was constructed after the introduction of a national program to build pools on an industrial scale, the program was initiated in 1969 by the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Recreation, and was designed to teach children swim after the bad results achieved by French swimmers in the 1968 Olympic Games. This led the construction of 183 pools in France during the late 1970s and early 1980s. The pool is 25 meters long and 10 meters wide, it's 6 metres high and designed so the dome can open 120°.
